Who I am
Hi, I'm Neil - a front-end developer and UI designer based just outside Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. I've spent over 19 years designing and building clean, dependable websites and interfaces.
These days I work mainly with agencies, as an outsourced resource - the reliable extra pair of hands you can bring in when a project needs it. I integrate with your team, deliver to your standards under your brand, and make sure the work coming back is something you'd be happy to put your own name to.

As a front-end developer and UI designer, I blend design and code to build engaging websites, web applications, and interfaces that deliver a seamless user experience.
I build pixel-perfect, accessible websites and applications that look great and perform smoothly across every device. React and Next.js are my day-to-day for building fast, modern, high-performing front-ends. I'm also well-versed in content management systems like WordPress and Umbraco, so clients and teams can manage content easily.
On the design side, I use Figma to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that align with the brand and vision behind them - so the end result doesn't just look good, it reflects the business it's built for.

There's more to me than websites - here's what I get up to when the laptop's closed.
When I'm not at my desk, you'll usually find me on the golf course or at the darts oche - two hobbies I can happily lose an afternoon to. I'm a keen gamer too, and I can never resist a bit of 10-pin bowling; my personal best of 246 (including 7 strikes in a row!) is one I'm still quietly proud of.
Away from all that, I enjoy getting out with Skye, our black Labrador, who's always up for a long weekend walk, ideally ending with a well-earned pint and a doggy ice cream for Skye.
