Teen Titans Go

A competition microsite built in React with a headless CMS, delivered as the sole front-end developer. Working closely with the design and back-end teams, I brought their creative vision to life as a site that stayed responsive and engaging across every device.

The brief called for something visually striking that could also stand up to the traffic a big competition brings, so performance and reliability were just as important as the look and feel. I built out the interface from the design team's concepts, made sure it held together cleanly from desktop down to mobile, and worked hand in hand with the back-end developers to wire everything up. The result was a polished, playful site that captured the brand and did its job under pressure - engaging to use and built to last through the campaign.

Hitachi Co2 Calculator

A responsive carbon-footprint calculator that turned complex emissions data into something anyone could use, on any device. Built in React, the challenge was taking a genuinely complicated set of inputs and calculations and making them feel simple and approachable for the end user.

I worked closely with the back-end team, who handled the number-crunching, and focused my attention on a clean, accessible interface that hid all that complexity behind the scenes. Users could enter their energy consumption and emissions data and get a clear, accurate result without ever feeling lost in the detail. Getting it working smoothly across everything from desktops to mobile phones took careful attention to layout and performance, but the payoff was a tool that made a technical subject genuinely usable for a broad audience.

Aston Martin - COTL

A set of polished, responsive UI screens built in React, designed to integrate cleanly with third-party software further down the line. My focus was on getting the interface intuitive, performant and faithful to the design spec, while structuring everything so it could be handed over for integration without friction.

Because these screens would later be connected to external systems by the back-end team, how they were built mattered as much as how they looked. I made sure each screen was cleanly structured, fully responsive and optimised for performance, so the integration work could happen smoothly and predictably. It was a good example of building not just for the end user, but for the developers who'd pick the work up next - something that comes up constantly in agency and outsourced projects.

Ford TrustFirstParts

A clean, intuitive interface concept for a web app to manage a car-parts stocking system. The goal was to take a complex set of requirements - handling inventory, tracking stock levels, managing orders - and turn them into something genuinely easy to use for the people relying on it day to day.

I focused on an organised, uncluttered layout with clear navigation, streamlining processes that could easily have felt overwhelming and making them approachable for experienced and first-time users alike. The designs laid the groundwork for a functional, scalable web application that could support the client's real-world business operations, showing how thoughtful UI can make even a data-heavy, logistics-driven tool feel straightforward.

ApplyOnce Funding

A website concept for a business helping small companies secure funding, designed to feel trustworthy and professional while keeping things simple for the user. For a business built on financial support, the design needed to reassure visitors and give them confidence from the very first impression.

My approach was to create a clean, approachable interface that guided business owners smoothly through the journey - from discovering their funding options, to submitting an application, to accessing further resources. I leaned on clear calls to action and simplified, streamlined forms to take the friction out of what can be a daunting process, so users always felt they knew exactly what to do next. The result was a concept that balanced professionalism with genuine ease of use.

GasRegulatory App

A design concept for a web app built around the needs of gas-trade professionals, helping them track certifications, manage renewal deadlines and stay compliant with industry standards. Compliance is high-stakes for this audience, so the design had to make staying on top of it feel effortless rather than like another chore.

I kept the focus firmly on clarity and simplicity. The concept centred on a personalised dashboard where users could see their certification statuses at a glance, backed up by automated renewal reminders so nothing slipped through the cracks, and easy access to any further training they needed. It was a case of designing for people who don't have time to wrestle with software - the interface had to be quick to understand and quicker to use.

AMBA/BGA

A large-scale website for AMBA, the organisation that accredits MBA programmes worldwide, built in React and integrated with a headless CMS for dynamic content management. Working as part of the front-end team, my days were spent developing the interface and making sure the site could be managed and updated easily once live.

The most interesting challenge was handling two distinct brands within a single website - each side needing its own unique theme and identity, while still feeling like part of one cohesive, well-built whole. It took careful structuring to keep the two consistent under the hood without compromising either brand's look, and to keep everything maintainable for the client through the CMS. A genuinely large, complex build, and a good demonstration of delivering polished front-end work at scale.
